Dry lips suck! So it's best to create you a natural healthy lip routine. Lip gloss, Chapstick and lip oil alone isn't going to do the job.
But don't panic! Nayjor Beauty has formulated a lip care routine just for you. Here's everything you need to know to keep your lips soft, smooth and moisturized.
Why Do I Have Dry Lips??
We all have suffered from dry lips, but the first step of course is to figure out why your lips are dry. Our daily activities can consist of a lot of things, so its plenty of things that will naturally dry out your lips.
Can you identify any of these reasons:
1. Your Diet: Some foods, like citrus and salty foods can irritate and dry out your lips. Your lips can also dry out if you don't have enough healthy fats in your die. Eat things like walnuts and coconut oil etc.
2. Licking Your Lips: Licking your lips seem like the natural thing to do when they start to get dry and chapped. This can actually make dryness worse. Repeated lip licking can even lead to a chronic condition known as lip licker's dermatitis. The skin on the lips are thin and delicate.
3. Dehydration: Are you drinking enough water? Dry lips are a common sign of dehydration. The way to solve this problem is to drink more water, eat more fruits and limit caffeinated beverages.
So now we discussed reasons why your lips could be getting dry, lets talk about solutuons.
1. Remove Your Makeup: Clear away any lipstick, gloss, or liner. This is a good thing to do before you go to bed
2. Exfoliate Your Lips with a Sugar Scrub: Apply a small amount of natural lip scrub to your lips. Using a clean finger, gently massage your top and bottom lips. When you’re finished, rinse off any excess or lick it away. Do this once or twice a week.
3. Apply Lip Balm: Apply a natural lip balm at least twice a day to moisturize and protect your lips.
